Our research has shown that the perceived color is a function of the grain size which constitutes the jade. Wyoming jade referred to as Sage Ivory have a larger underlying tremolite particle size, with less dense packing of the fibers. While mineralogically identical as the darker greens, the lighter colored portions tend to work as a much
